A book to me is a place. Like the images your mind comes to, or the smell of the pages when you first open a book to imagine what it would be like. A book to me is something you can get lost in, and never find your way out of thinking. It’s the magic, the experiences, and the feeling of a book that makes the book worth reading. Most of the times in a book, your mind takes you to different places as if it were a movie, and that's what makes a book good. A book can mean many things to other people, but I feel as if everyone could relate to my definition in some form or another. A book gives you the ability to think and feel your emotions the way you want to play with them, or those that your mind takes you, that feeling is the best feeling you could ever imagine, well to me at least. The physicality of the book, to me means a lot. I like the smell of the new books, the ones with the big widths, they make you think, and thinking is what makes the book really enjoyable. I agree with the second writer, the physicality of the book does matter, but for some people they can think with the pushing of a button, but I can’t just push a button, and understand fully of what the book is trying to say or the point of which the book is trying to get onto the readers.
Like all good authors, a book has to have a really good plotline, and without a good plot line, it’s useless to read. I do not agree with the post, “Scribble.” I feel as if you do need an actual book in order to fully like the book, but different people have different personalities in which they differ from me. A lot of people have different definitions of a book, but a book is a place, in which you imagine, believe, appreciate, and learn, and that fact is something that can never be disregarded.
